Youth Group of the Centre for Civic Education (CCE) announces a competition for the best photo on the subject:
EUROPE AND ME
,,Europe and Me" is a competition for the best photo that will in original manner present the presence of what young people in Montenegro recognize as European values, standards or heritage. Photo can be any of your view that you believe represents a symbol of one of the values ??on which the EU is founded, such as: freedom, tolerance, respect for human rights, democracy, solidarity, gender equality, rule of law and environmental protection, and whose presence you recognize in the community where you live.
Eligible candidates have to be to high school pupils or undergraduate students from the territory of Montenegro. All participants of the competition can submit up to three of their photos. The photo is accompanied by: information about the author (name, address, telephone number, e-mail, name of high school or university) and confirmation that the photo is copyrighted by the sender and has not been published yet.
The final decision on selection of the best photos will be made by the jury based on several basic criteria (subject, idea, elaboration and technique). By submitting photos to the competition, authors will automatically accept the terms of this competition, including the use of their photos by the Youth Group of the CCE in promoting non-commercial projects.
Your digital photos, with a minimum width of 3000pixels (longer side), in full resolution, should be sent to the-mail og@cgo-cce.org no later than the 14 October 2011.
The jury will select 50 photos in the first round for semi-final, while in the second round 10 photos will be selected, three of whom will get the cash prizes:
First prize 300 EUR
Second prize 200 EUR
Third prize 100 EUR
Ten photos with the major number of votes of the jury, including three winners, will be made further produced in the form of postcards and sent to the addresses of the most important institutions of the European Union. All fifty photographs from the first round will be at the three days long exhibition available to the public. Opening of the exhibition is planned for 30 October 2011 in Podgorica, when the authors of the best photographs will be awarded.

CCE and Friedrich Ebert Stiftung publicise AN ADVERTISEMENT for participants of XVIII generation of
DEMOCRACY SCHOOL
- school for learning democracy from theory to practice -
School comprises 5 modules lasting totally four months. The courses will be held once or twice a week for two hours. All expenses are covered by the foundation Friedrich Ebert and Centre for Civic Education, with obligation of the participants to attend not less than 80% of the programme. Upon finishing of the School the participants shall receive a certificate and be eligible for further educational development.
The right to participate have candidates who want to contribute to development of democracy and civic society in Montenegro. All candidates are welcome, regardless of age, gender, nationality, religion or personal convictions, with the indication that advantage have activists of the political parties and non-governmental organisations and all individuals who are showing high level of social activism.

What is the meaning of the free primary education in Montenegro?

first-instance verdict of the High Court in Belgrade, which adopted the
claim of the NGO Gay Straight Alliance (GSA) against the daily newspaper "Press" for publishing texts - comments from readers on the Internet site "Press Online" . The verdict is determining that the published texts and
comments represent hate speech against LGBT population, and that "Press" has, by permitting and facilitating the above comments on the site, acted
discriminatory towards this population....

Centre for Civic Education (CCE) is publishing an ADVERTISMENT
for XII generation of the
HUMAN RIGHTS SCHOOL - school for learning human rights from theory to practice-
School comprises 3 modules in total of one intensive week with numerous lectures, workshops, film screenings and theater forums which will offer an opportunity to learn and discuss various topics concerning human rights. All costs related to the Scholl are covered by the CCE, with support from the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, through the regional project of human rights education in the Western Balkans, and with the obligation of participants to attend not less than 80% of the programme.
Human rights school provides broad theoretical and practical knowledge on concept of human rights, affirms the culture of human rights, inspiring and motivating people to stand for their rights, as well as for those who are not able to do that on their own and to empower them to have more direct influence within society in future.
From late February 2010, CCE is included as an equal project partner in the Regional Programme for Human Rights education for active citizenship in the Western Balkans, which runs from 2000 supported by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and in cooperation with the Norwegian Helsinki Committee for Human Rights. Entering into this type of partnership implied a certain reformulation of the conception and organization of the previous School programme, the structure of the participants, as well as the increase of number of interactive sessions.
Accordingly, the advertisement for the Human Rights School XII generation is open to all interested candidates aged 18-25 years, regardless of gender, nationality, religion or belief, with the indication that advantage is given to the activists of political parties and nongovernmental organizations, youth leaders, students and individuals who demonstrate a high degree of social activism.
Expert lecturers will be working with the participants through the presentations, workshops, film screenings and theatre dealing with broad spectrum of human rights issues.
Upon finishing of the School the participants shall receive a certificate and be eligible for further educational development.

for participants of XVII generation of
DEMOCRACY SCHOOL
- school for learning democracy from theory to practice -
School comprises 5 modules lasting totally four months. The courses will be held once or twice a week for two hours. All expenses are covered by the foundation Friedrich Ebert and Centre for Civic Education, with obligation of the participants to attend not less than 80% of the programme. - school for learning human rights from theory to practice -
School consists of 3 modules for a total of two months. Classes will be held once or twice a week for two hours.
